General activation flow

Activating ESPN generally requires opening the ESPN app, copying the TV code, and visiting ESPN's official activation URL to enter the code. If you have a TV provider subscription, you may need to sign in with your TV provider credentials during activation.

Step-by-step (general)

1. Open the ESPN app on your Smart TV or device.
2. Note any TV code shown or follow the on-screen link instructions.
3. On another device, go to the official ESPN activation site (verify the site domain).
4. Sign in (if required) and enter the TV code exactly as shown.
5. Return to the TV — the app should now be activated.

Common activation scenarios

• If you have a cable/satellite/streaming subscription that includes ESPN, sign in with provider credentials when prompted.
• For direct Peacock or ESPN+ content, ensure you use the correct service credentials (ESPN+ vs. general ESPN app content may differ).

Troubleshooting

Invalid or expired code: Re-open the app to generate a fresh code. Make sure you enter it within the time window.

App not showing content after activation: Sign out and sign back in, clear the app data (when possible), or reinstall the app.
